North Valley Housing Trust helped fund 14 supportive housing units for people experiencing chronic homelessness.

Valley View Apartments is an affordable permanent supportive housing community for low income Mental Health Services Act eligible adults living with mental illness who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Valley View Apartments is our first funded project that has completed construction! This project provides 14 one-bedroom apartments for individuals that are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.

North Valley Housing Trust was able to leverage local dollars to secure a Local Housing Trust Fund Grant from the state to provide the long-term, low-interest financing needed to help develop Valley View.  The Valley View project was developed by Northern Valley Catholic Social Services and Palm Communities in partnership with Butte County Behavioral Health Mental Health Services Act Program, the City of Chico HOME and CDBG programs, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, and Rabobank to fund the project.
